1. Scope of Services

Jacks Point Accounting provides accounting, tax compliance, and business advisory services as outlined in our engagement letter or agreement with you ("the Client"). Our services are advisory in nature and do not constitute legal, investment, or financial advice regulated under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013.​

2. Nature of Advice
​
All advice and recommendations provided by us are based on the information you supply and our understanding of your circumstances at the time. Such advice is intended solely for your use and should not be relied upon by third parties. We do not accept responsibility for any actions taken based on our advice without further consultation.​

3. Client Responsibilities
​
You agree to:
Provide accurate, complete, and timely information necessary for us to perform our services.
Inform us promptly of any changes to your circumstances that may affect our services.
Review and approve all documents and returns before submission.
Retain responsibility for all decisions made based on our advice.​

4. Limitation of Liability
​
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising from our services, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, is limited to the total fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.​ We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss or damage, including loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities.​

5. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jacks Point Accounting, its directors, employees, and agents against any claims, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from:​
Your breach of these Terms & Conditions.
Any third-party claims related to your use of our services.
Reliance on information provided by you that is false, misleading, or incomplete.​

6. Confidentiality

We will maintain the confidentiality of your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and our professional obligations. We will not disclose your information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law or professional standards.​

7. Intellectual Property
​
All intellectual property rights in materials we create during the course of our services remain our property. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use such materials solely for the purposes for which they were provided.​

8. Termination
